About The Mindful Foundation

Building safer futures together.

Who We Are

The Mindful Foundation is a registered UK charity (No. 1209439) founded to address one of the most urgent safeguarding challenges facing our communities: the prevention of domestic abuse and harmful behaviour before it escalates.

Our work sits at the intersection of education, psychology and safeguarding. We partner with schools, community organisations and statutory services to deliver structured prevention programmes, professional training and behaviour change initiatives.

Alongside prevention, we contribute to sector-wide conversations on domestic abuse, trauma recovery and healthy relationships, ensuring our work remains informed by evidence, lived experience and frontline practice.

The Team

The Mindful Foundation brings together over 12 years of experience in domestic abuse prevention, trauma recovery, education and victim support. Our team includes professionals trained in psychology, neuroscience, counselling, trauma-informed practice and safeguarding.

We are active voices in the sector, contributing to Domestic Abuse Conferences, the Public Policy Exchange on Ending Domestic Violence, SafeLives’ Monthly Sector Call, the Her Centre’s Healthy Relationships and Situationships event, and the Navigating the Void podcast.

Our resources have international reach. Meditations developed by our team are currently being used in the Central Regional Hospital, North Carolina, USA supporting psychiatric patients, and our Think Different educational abuse prevention materials are being used in three organisations in South Africa.
