ListenApp - Victim Support app

Developing a discreet digital support tool for people experiencing abuse

ListenApp

ListenApp is a victim-centred support app currently in development, designed to provide discreet, accessible help for people experiencing domestic abuse and coercive control. The app is being built to prioritise safety, privacy and real-world usability, particularly for those who may not be able to openly seek support.

What ListenApp is designed to do

ListenApp is being developed as a discreet, safety-focused victim support app that enables users to raise an alert without drawing attention. The app uses voice and touch triggers to send an emergency SMS alert to trusted contacts, activate audio recording to capture evidence of abuse, and provide a one-touch call function to emergency services.

Designed for situations where traditional safety planning may not be possible, ListenApp prioritises speed, discretion and user control, allowing individuals to seek help and document harm in real time, without needing to unlock a phone or navigate visible screens.
